Will we see a TTV6 Mustang in this generation?

While it’s almost assured that the upcoming GT500 will have a V8, it’s still a shame that some derivative of the V6T isn’t going to be in a Mustang but is in the GT and Raptor.

There’s room in the lineup for a new Boss or King Cobra right?

The purists lost their shit when they put one turbo in the Mustang, could you imagine how they’d react when you put in two ?

Realistically, I can’t see it happening, because the V8 (in one form or another) will always have to be the top dog in a Mustang.

Kinja'd!!!

I mean, there was kind of a King Cobra already.

I’m betting (Or just hoping really) that the hybrid for the next generation car will use the 2.7L TT. That would be an awesome combo.

A GT without a V8 isn’t a GT. #purist

I’d love to see the new BOSS as a hot track oriented 3.5EB/6speed or 10-speed auto. Below it is the GT and 2.3. Above it is the GT350/GT350R. Then slap a couple turbos on the Voodoo 5.2 for the GT500KR. Make that one a 700hp grand tourer to compete with the Europeans.

nope...

It would be a true SVO and there just isn’t the market or will to support it.

I still think we should, but it should wear Lincoln badges, have a better interior, and take on the Audi A/S5, BMW 4 series, Lexis RC, etc.

every other luxury brand who has tried to “take on” BMW and Audi has languished. it hasn’t worked for Cadillac, Acura, or Infiniti. What makes you think it would work for Lincoln?

Cadillac’s attempt has been pretty much across it’s lineup, and while they aren’t outselling the Germans, they aren’t exactly failing either. Acura has never made a longitudinal/rear drive car, and has a bunch of other issues. And why do you say Infiniti hasn’t been successful?

I’m not saying that Lincoln should try to be the Germans. I’m just saying Lincoln has the opportunity to badge engineer a performance car that could improve it’s stodgy image.
